The creators of the System Shock remake showed four new screenshots and promised to release a beta version for contributors soon

Independent American studio Nightdive on the Kickstarter crowdfunding service has published November update development of the upcoming remake of the cult shooter System Shock.

Unlike the September publication, the November one does not differ in volume and contains only four new screenshots of the modernized System Shock (three of them are in relatively low resolution).

The first two images in the gallery below show footage from the opening cutscene, the third is Hacker’s explorable apartment, and the last is the central part of the Citadel station’s control bridge.

The developers also mentioned that they are working hard on the game and are already entering the stage of quality assurance – the beta version of System Shock for those who supported the remake on Kickstarter will be available in “in the nearest future”

The release of the modernized System Shock was expected this summer, but something went wrong, and the project has no more relevant release date. An updated version is being created for PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store), PS4 and Xbox One.
