Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer of Japanese studio Team Ninja (Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, Nioh series) announced a new joint project – a fantasy action game Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty takes place in a fantasy version of the late Han as demons besiege three realms and players must fight to survive as a nameless militia.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty users will fight deadly creatures and enemy soldiers to boost their morale and awaken the hidden in the protagonist “true power”.
Fallen Dynasty promises swordsmanship based on real Chinese martial arts and a dramatic, rich storyline. The project involves Bloodborne producer Masaaki Yamagiwa, who joined Team Ninja in October 2021.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is expected to arrive on PC in early 2023 (steam, Microsoft store), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. From day one, the game will also be available to Game Pass subscribers (PC and Xbox).
