Independent American studio Half Mermaid Productions, founded by Sam Barlow, creator of Her Story and Immortality, announced two new games at once, but keeps the lion’s share of information about them secret.
The first of the two projects has been provisionally called up Project C (presumably Corneas) – by analogy with Project A(mbrosio), which eventually turned out to be immortality – and represents the development of the ideas of this immortality.
We’re talking about a science fiction horror film with live actors. From Words Barlow, this is the most game-filled game in the Half Mermaid series of cinematic projects.
Mentioned the sketchy description for Project C on Steam “For the first time in the history of video games”. Barlow himself Calls Project “Next level FMV” and calls “Buckle up your seatbelts”. A mysterious teaser is included.
Second Mysterious Half Mermaid game, according to entry in SteamDB, called Project D(oors). According to Project C she has Steam page (also with lots of white space) and a short teaser (attached below).
According to the Steam listing, Project D is a third-person survival horror game from 1983 centered around a nurse and doors.
Project D Barlow is calling “one more” Reinvents third-person horror. The game designer has experience working in this genre – he was listed as the screenwriter of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, for whose fans the new game is being developed.
