Against the background of today’s launch of sales of graphics cards Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti with a suggested retail price of $799, various retailers around the world began lowering the prices of reference versions of the model AMD Radeon RX7900XT. In the US, the suggested retail price for this model was $899. Now you can find a standard graphics card for $20 cheaper.
Despite the identified cooling issues, the reference version of the flagship Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics card with a suggested retail price of $999 turned out to be much more popular than the younger Radeon RX 7900 XT. If the latter is available in almost all stores, then the first batches of the flagship model are already sold out, writes the VideoCardz portal. Referring to the major American store Newegg, the source reports that the XFX Radeon RX 7900 XT model can be purchased in the reference version for $879.99.
The price of the standard version of the Radeon RX 7900 XT has also fallen in European retail. At the same time, the price for it began to fall two weeks after the start of sales. The recommended price was initially €1049, then it dropped to €999. Now it is offered for another 10 € cheaper. In other words, the card has already lost 5.7% of its originally declared value.
Another major German retailer, Mindfactory, is selling AMD’s new product for €989.
