Publisher Warner Bros. Games and developer Warner Bros. GamesMontreal on the FAQ page revealed new details of their cooperative superhero action film Gotham Knights.
Keep in mind that according to the storyline, Robin, Batgirl, Nightwing, and Red Hood must stand up for Gotham after Batman’s death. Contrary to recent rumours, only two co-op games will be available in the game.
The co-op campaign in Gotham Knights is online only (no crossplay planned) and requires a PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription on consoles. The single player mode can be played without an internet connection.
Despite the fact that Gotham Knights does not belong to the service games, the developers felt it necessary to assure the community that there are no plans to include microtransactions in the project.
Gotham Knights is out October 25th on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. Warner Bros. is dropping PS4 and Xbox One. Games are motivated by the desire to provide something for the players “Best Gaming Experience”.
