New information has appeared on the Internet about the Redmi K50S Pro smartphone, which, as previously reported, will receive a 200-megapixel main camera. The novelty could become the first mobile device equipped with a 200-megapixel camera, unless it is surpassed by a Motorola smartphone with a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL-HP1 sensor.
Through Data Blogger Yogesh Brar, the main camera of the Redmi K50S Pro smartphone will also include an 8-megapixel sensor with ultra-wide-angle optics and a 2-megapixel sensor for macro photography. According to the blogger, the resolution of the front camera should be 20 megapixels.
Brar also confirmed rumors that the Redmi K50S Pro will be based on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 octa-core processor clocked at up to 3.2GHz. The remaining specs of the smartphone include a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and support for HDR10+ technology. According to the China Telecommunications Equipment Certification Authority (TENAA), the smartphone will come in configurations with 8GB RAM and 128GB flash storage and 12GB RAM and 256GB flash storage.
In addition, the blogger confirmed reports that the Redmi K50S Pro will get a 5000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. The smartphone’s operating system will be Android 12 with a proprietary software shell MIUI 13.
The Xiaomi Redmi K50S smartphone with the Dimensity 8100 chip is also expected to be launched. It is reported that Redmi K50S and Redmi K50S Pro will be available in the global market under the names Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro.
