The authors of the melee action Sifu intentionally deprived it of the difficulty settings

The independent French studio Sloclap is currently finishing work on the melee action Sifu, which is slated for release on February 8 next year. Pierre Tarno, Executive Producer of Sloclap, in an interview edition MP1st made it clear that Sifu will not have difficulty settings. The development team believes that killing the protagonist in difficult battles and returning to “New old guise” – the price that you have to pay for a complete study of the combat system.

“We want Sifu to challenge players and encourage their willingness to learn, improve and adapt. The ability of the hero to rise from the dead will be useful for new players in the event of a encounter with difficulties, will allow them to make mistakes and start all over again many times, – Pierre Tarnot cursed. – But the cost of mistakes will grow rapidly, and players will have to master the combat system to complete the game. “

Tarno promised that only after the release of Sifu, the development team will think about introducing difficulty settings.

Sifu is being developed for PC (Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Pre-orders are open on all target platforms – the expanded edition includes 48-hour early access to the game, digital artbook and soundtrack.
