Now the company wants to become an energy supplier. Recently, an application was filed with the Texas Public Utilities Commission for a permit to market electricity in the state.

According to job description on Tesla’s website, the company is going to use its own Autobidder software platform to “Battery offerings in several wholesale energy markets”… The applicant is required to have experience in the wholesale electricity markets, the position involves “Management of trading and real-time operations related to battery, solar and wind energy projects in the wholesale energy markets” using Autobidder. The place of work of the specialist as a senior analyst for energy trade is the California city of Palo Alto.
