TeamGroup has announced new DDR5 ECC R-DIMM memory modules with a nominal frequency of 5600 MHz (according to JEDEC 5600 MT/s standard) that can be overclocked to 6800 MHz. They are designed for high-performance workstations based on 4th generation Intel Xeon processors (Sapphire Rapids) and mainboards based on the Intel W790 chipset.

The manufacturer points out that the new RAM modules work with Intel XMP 3.0 overclocking profiles and, in particular, can be switched to a mode with an effective frequency of 6800 MHz at the push of a button.
Introduced by TeamGroup, DDR5 ECC R-DIMM modules are available in 16GB and 32GB sizes. The company notes that they have been tested for compatibility with ASRock Intel W790 motherboards.

The new RAM modules are equipped with a dual ECC error correction system as well as high-precision temperature sensors to monitor their overclocking health.
Unfortunately, the manufacturer did not provide any data on the timing of the presented RAM sticks, nor did they disclose their cost.
