As has been announced, the company expects the issue to take place between April 1, 2024 and March 31, 2025 “several groundbreaking games that will set new standards in our industry”.

The projects listed are designed to help Take-Two Interactive achieve $8 billion in revenue for the specified timeframe (fiscal 2025) and maintain that momentum in fiscal 2026 and beyond.

The report doesn’t mention this directly, but one of the innovative games mentioned could well be a conditional GTA VI: Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick has previously spoken about it with similar epithets.

As already mentioned IGNFiscal 2023 brought Take-Two record sales of $5.3 billion (thanks in part to Zynga), while the company typically makes about $3 billion a year.

It’s hard to think of a franchise other than GTA (a numbered game and equivalent of GTA Online) that could bring Take-Two $8 billion in revenue and even more success in the next fiscal year.

A new full-fledged Grand Theft Auto (believed to be GTA VI) was officially confirmed last February and fell victim in September 2022 “one of the biggest leaks in gaming history”.
