Take-Two discusses recent achievements in its key franchises, including Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption, and Borderlands

Publisher Take-Two Interactive as part of a recent release Report for the third quarter of the current financial year shared information about the new achievements of games in their main franchises.

It has been revealed that sales of the Grand Theft Auto series exceeded 370 million copies – 160 million of which are for Grand Theft Auto V alone and up to 10 million for the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition compilation.

For comparison: the total sales of games from well-known franchises such as Final Fantasy (until September 2021) and Resident Evil (until December 2021), reached 164 and 123 million copies respectively.

Sales of Red Dead Redemption as a whole reached the mark of 65 million copies (Red Dead Redemption 2 in particular – 43 million copies), NBA 2K – 121 million, Borderlands – 74 million (15 million for Borderlands 3), Sid Meier’s Civilization – 61 million and BioShock – 39 million

The past quarter was a good one for Take-Two Interactive: Net sales increased 6%, in “number” up 12% ($762.3 million), but total income fell 21% to $144 million .
