Tag Heuer has introduced the fourth generation of the Connected Caliber E4 luxury smartwatch with Wear OS. The novelty has become more productive and autonomous compared to the previous generation, and also has received an improved design and additional software features. The new line is represented by the 45mm standard version and the more compact 42mm version of the device.

Externally, the new 45mm Connected Caliber E4 is slimmer than the 2020 model, with fewer bulky buttons for a more traditional look. The OLED display is protected from mechanical damage by a flat sapphire glass. A more expensive version of the device assumes the presence of a titanium case. At the same time, the 42mm version of the watch has a smaller case and bezels that combine neatly with the domed sapphire crystal.
Both models feature more powerful hardware than what Tag Heuer has used in the past. The watch is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4100+ processor, which is by far the most productive solution in this category.
The design also provides for a Bluetooth 5.0 module, which, according to the developers, allows you to sync data with your smartphone twice as fast as the previous generation devices. Also noted is the presence of an altimeter, an accelerometer, a heart rate monitor sensor, a compass and a GPS signal receiver.
According to available data, both models can be used throughout the day without reloading. The 45mm dial model is equipped with a larger battery and is designed for active use (including sports). The smaller model will not be able to boast such a high level of autonomy. The watch comes with a new charger in the form of a stand with a magnetic connector. Speaking of software improvements, it is worth noting the appearance of guided workouts, as well as a large number of different watch faces that allow you to view various information on the screen, including workout data, weather, etc.
Like previous generations of Tag Heuer smartwatches, the new items come with an impressive price tag. You can buy the 42mm model for $1800, while the 45mm version is $2050 for the steel case and rubber strap, $2250 for the titanium bracelet model, and $2550 for the all-titanium version. The Connected Caliber E4 smartwatch will go on sale on March 10th.
