Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin was released on the Epic Games Store over a year ago. Now Square Enix and Team Ninja have announced that the game will be coming to Steam next month and have said they will lower the price.

A new trailer for Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, celebrating the end of Jack Garlad’s journey, hinted that the game will be released on Steam in Japan on April 7th. A few minutes after its release, the developers officially announced it explained that the project will also be available on the Valve website worldwide on April 6th.
In addition, Square Enix plans to lower the price of the game, but so far the publisher has not given any specifics.
The game takes place in the backstory of the first Final Fantasy, but in an alternate universe. According to its plot, the heroes ended up in a dark fairytale world to face the chaos that the protagonist named Jack is determined to destroy.
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin was released for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on March 18th last year as part of the series’ 35th anniversary celebrations. Critics were cautious about the game – on average they were valued her 72 out of 100 points.
