Steam Weekly Chart: God of War topped the chart while Monster Hunter Rise topped the other two spots in the top 3

Sales God of War (2018) brought most earnings on Steam in the last week. Second and third place went to action role-playing game Monster Hunter Rise, and tactical shooter Ready or Not dropped out of the top three after a three-week lead.

Yesterdays in God of War were simultaneous 73 529 User. This result made the game PlayStation Studios’ most successful release on Steam, with Horizon Zero Dawn being its peak 56 557 Man and Days Gone – 27 450. In addition, among the projects mentioned, the Santa Monica Studio promotion has the highest rating in the store – 97% (more than nine thousand reviews left).

God of War Creative Lead Cory Barlog and Senior Technical Production Manager Matt DeWald recently announced that the game has taken about two years to port to PC. The developers also clarified that the possibility of appearing on the God of War Ragnarok platform is entirely dependent on Sony.

Coinciding with the release, the publisher released an ultra-wide format trailer.

On January 16, Monster Hunter Rise also updated the record: the number of users reached simultaneously 134 262. However, this is significantly less than the top number of Monster Hunter: World (the latter collected in 2018 334 684 players simultaneously). The action role-playing game included two lines at once: on the second – pre-orders, on the third – the release version.

In a review for 3DNews, Mikhail Ponomarev called Monster Hunter Rise “an excellent further development of the series” and noted that the game will be fully revealed on PC.

Ready or Not, which fell to fourth, continues to lose popularity. In the past 24 hours, the number of simultaneous players in the shooter had increased 10 587 (the all-time high of 19,621 was recorded on December 23).

Due to increased pre-orders, Elden Ring moved up from seventh to fifth place. Early purchases helped earn Dying Light 2 Stay Human’s 8th place release on February 4th. The second stands still inferior in first place in the ranking of the most desirable games in the store.

The set with the VR helmet Valve Index moved down one line (it’s now sixth), and the survival simulator Project Zomboid lost three positions to finish in seventh place. However, the latter still attracts many users: the peak is in the last 24 hours 57 519 (All-time record – 65,505). It Takes Two, which returned to the top 10 during the sale, fell from second to ninth place. Rounding out the top ten is Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach (it was sixth last week).

Also yesterday, the record of simultaneous stay of Steam users was updated – 28 733 070 (approx. 500,000 more than a week before).
