This year the game will not be released – the launch will take place only in 2022. A cinematic trailer was released at the same time.
The video showed all the currently announced characters. There are nine of them: the Mandalorian Aran Tal; Wookiee warrior Grozz (Grozz), who knows how to disarm opponents; Utooni – Jawa people working in pairs, hiding powerful weapons in their robes; Jedi droid J-3DI, programmed to believe in the Force; bounty hunter Imara Vex; Slingshot riding a droid; Sith girl Reeve (Rieve); Imperial Guard (Sentinel); veteran of the Rebel Alliance and hero of the New Republic Zaina. All heroes will be allowed to customize.
Also, the creators launched official site project, where you can find images and a brief description of the characters, and opened a pre-registration. The number of registrations determines which exclusive items players will receive. There are five goals in total: 250 thousand, 500 thousand, 750 thousand and 1 million registrations.
