American actor Quinton Flynn, best known for playing the cyber-ninja Raiden in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and other Metal Gear games, has captivated fans of the famous Konami franchise with a new post on his microblog.

It all started last week with a post in which Flynn Applied their services through the cameo service – on this site, well-known (and not so well-known) people shoot videos for a specific client for money.
A fan reports in the comments to the tweet remind about the upcoming 10th anniversary of Revengeance and another fan offered celebrate the anniversary by announcing Metal Gear Rising 2 as part of a comprehensive showcase of new Metal Gear projects.
Flynn didn’t want to disappoint the players and pushed “Stay tuned for announcements in the coming weeks”. The actor accompanied his message with a winking emoji which, along with the teaser, put the Metal Gear community on high alert.

As to what exactly Flynn hinted at in his tweet — a possible sequel to Metal Gear Rising, a fan-mentioned showcase of new Metal Gear games, or just fresh news about the franchise — history is silent.
It was previously reported that remasters of the main parts of MGS are in development, as well as remakes of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (by Virtuos) and the original Metal Gear Solid. Announcement of the latter, according to the portal Areajugonestakes place until May.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance debuted on February 19th, 2013 on PS3 and Xbox 360 and made it to PC on January 9th, 2014. In 2022, the project experienced a surge in popularity, largely due to the proliferation of memes based on the game.
