Sony continues to share information on the most downloaded games on the PS Store. July data recently appeared on the official PlayStation Blog. The company has traditionally published separate lists of the most downloaded projects on PS4 and PS5. Shareware games and releases for PS VR have also earned their ratings.
On the PlayStation 5 in the US / Canada and Europe, the soccer sim FIFA 21 became the leader, followed by Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and F1 2021, respectively. The third position in the first region went to NBA 2K21 Next Generation, and in the second – to the already mentioned adventures of Miles Morales.
On PS4 in the USA / Canada, Grand Theft Auto V is at the top of the list, and in Europe – FIFA 21. NBA 2K21 and GTA V received conditional “silver” respectively. And the third place was taken by Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War in the USA / Canada and F1 2021 in Europe.
In the case of PS VR, the first lines in the two regions were taken by the same games. Leadership, as in previous months, is held by Beat Saber. The Job Simulator is next, and Sniper Elite VR boasts a bronze medal.
But among the shareware projects, there has been a noticeable reshuffle. The shooter Splitgate was able to bypass the previous leaders both in the USA / Canada and in Europe. Behind him is Fortnite – also in two regions at the same time. Call of Duty: Warzone took third place in the US / Canada, and Rocket League in Europe.
