Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo won’t appear at E3 2023 – organizers promise other ‘biggest companies in the industry’

portals IGN and Chronicle of Video Games Citing their own sources, they announced the refusal of the biggest platform holders to attend ReedPop’s upcoming E3 2023 gaming expo.

According to reporters, Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE), Microsoft and Nintendo will be absent from E3 2023 and the Los Angeles Convention and Convention Center, where the event will be held, in a traditional format for the first time in four years.

Formerly Microsoft Confirmedthat plans an annual summer show will exist in “Press and even consumer friendly” Period. SIE and Nintendo’s plans for future presentations are unknown.

Responding to reports of platform owners pulling back from potential exhibitors, ReedPop gave assurances “many of the largest companies in the industry” shown for E3 2023 “huge interest” and gave “verbal promises”.

E3 2023 will take place June 13-16, with partner digital previews starting June 11. The exhibition will be split between industry representatives (June 13-15) and event-goers (June 15-16).

Against the background of the news about the participants of E3 2023 about the analogue of the exhibition in Los Angeles decided to remember The Game Awards are being hosted by Geoff Keighley, whose annual Summer Game Fest digital festival kicks off this June 8th.
