Sony first showed Horizon Forbidden West on PS4 Pro and sent the game to gold

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Guerrilla Games have announced that Horizon Forbidden West has gone Gold. In honor of this, they showed the game for the first time on the PlayStation 4 Pro. What the role-playing action will be like on the base version of the console is still unknown.

Horizon Forbidden West will be released in less than a month on February 18th for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. “I want to congratulate the entire team on our success and thank the community for your endless support and emotion you are showing us as we prepare for the game’s release.”said studio director and executive producer Angie Smets.

Submitting for Gold means the game’s master CD has gone to press and the build is ready to be uploaded to digital services. There is a high probability that the release of the project will no longer be transferred. And only now the developers have shown how the game looks on the PlayStation 4 Pro. Surprisingly, it doesn’t differ much from the PS5 version.

Footage released by Guerrilla Games shows Aloy walking through the settlement of the Utaru tribe in Valley Song, where its members live in huge thatched houses in the satellite dishes of a once-advanced human civilization.

In addition, the developer demonstrated the fight with the eater. These agile foes move and attack quickly, spitting fire projectiles.

Finally, in the final cutscene, Aloy is attacked by a herd of Billhooks. As in the first part, this is a rather formidable and large enemy that will be very dangerous.
