The headset is equipped with OLED displays that offer a resolution of 2000×2040 pixels per eye with a 110 ° field of view, support for frame rates from 90 to 120 Hz and support for 4K HDR. There are 4 cameras on the housing of the device, with the help of which, in addition to the three-axis gyroscope and the accelerometer, the movements of the headset and the controller are tracked; there are also infrared cameras inside that track eye movements. The data from all these sensors and cameras can be used as additional input sources in the game: For example, you have to look at a certain point for something to happen.

The manufacturer has also taken care of the feedback system – it is implemented with vibration motors. As Sony made clear, with its help the player can feel the rapid pulse of the character or objects flying near his head. The immersive experience is complemented by Tempest 3D AudioTech surround sound technology.

However, it is known that the game Horizon Call of the Mountain was specially developed for him and will be released exclusively for the platform.
