SNK unveils new fighters for The King of Fighters XV and confirms crossplay plans

Japanese publisher and developer SNK Corporation has shared several news about the advancement of its anime fighting game The King of Fighters XV as part of the EVO 2022 esports tournament.

First, the third pack of The King of Fighters XV DLC characters, Team Awakened Orochi, announced for August will go on sale today. 8th Augustfor PC (Steam, Microsoft Store, EGS), PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X and S.

Second, the fourth autumn group of fighters receive is called Team Samurai and features heroes from another SNK fighting game, Samurai Shodown. We’re talking about Haohmaru, Nakoruru, and Darley Dagger.

Third SNK announcedFatal Fury’s Terry Bogard, The King of Fighters’ Kio Kusanagi, Art of Fighting’s Ryo Sakazaki and Samurai Shodown’s Haohmaru will host a duel together in The King of Fighters XV.

Finally, in 2023, The King of Fighters XV waiting Cross-platform multiplayer support and a second season with additional fighters. So far, Shingo Yabuki and Kim Kawfan have been confirmed.
