Silicon Power launches UD80 NVMe drives up to 2TB

Silicon Power has announced the UD80 series solid state drives in the M.2 2280 form factor, which use the PCIe 3.0 x4 interface (NVMe specification) for data exchange.

The family includes four models – with a capacity of 250 and 500 GB and 1 and 2 TB. The sequential reading speed of information reaches 3400 MB / s, the sequential writing speed is 3000 MB / s. IOPS (Input/Output Operations Per Second) is not disclosed.

The drives measure 22.0 x 80.0 x 3.5mm and weigh 8g. No heatsink is included. The mean claimed time between failures (MTBF) is 1.5 million hours.

The operating temperature range is from 0 to 70 degrees Celsius. We are talking about compatibility with Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.

The manufacturer grants a five-year guarantee on new items. Information on the estimated price is not yet available.
