As it became known, at the launch (at least in Japan) Shin Megami Tensei V will receive a number of paid add-ons. Return of the True Demon, for example, allows you to fight demons from Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne, including the protagonist.

A Goddess in Training, The Rage of a Queen, and The Doctor’s Last Wish will add characters such as Artemis, Cleopatra, and Mephisto to Shin Megami Tensei V. After completing their quests, they will become available to merge with other monsters.

Finally, DLCs titled Mitama Dance of Wealth, Mitama Dance of EXP, and Mitama Dance of Miracles will make rare demons that bring money, experience, and fame points, respectively, not so rare.

It is reported that all add-ons available for Shin Megami Tensei V will be combined into one compilation (at a reduced price). The sale will also go to the edition of the game, complete with the listed extensions.

In addition, the project will have two types of the “New Game +” mode: in the first (Newborn) only information about the opponents is transferred to the next passage, in the second (Reborn) – the level of the hero, skills, demons, objects, and so on.

The Japanese release of Shin Megami Tensei V will take place on November 11 this year on Nintendo Switch, and the Western release will take place on November 12. A new trailer for the project will debut next week.
