See you, Ghosts: Ghost Recon Breakpoint will no longer receive new content

Publisher Ubisoft and developer Ubisoft Paris in the official microblog of the Ghost Recon series announced about the end of content support for the cooperative tactical action game Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

In their call, the creators recalled that in the two and a half years after its release, they released more than a dozen updates to Ghost Recon Breakpoint and supported several initiatives, including Planting a tree project.

In the last four months the latest batch of new content for Ghost Recon Breakpoint has been released (Operation Motherland in November 2021), a 20th anniversary giveaway and the NFT debut with Ubisoft Quartz.

“On behalf of the entire Ghost Recon team, we want to thank you for your support and love. Your feedback on Ghost Recon Breakpoint has been critical and will help shape the future of the series. Goodbye Ghosts”the developers said goodbye.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint debuted on October 4th, 2019 on PC (Uplay, Epic Games Store), PS4 and Xbox One. The action received mixed reviews (from 56 In front 62% on Metacritic) and disappointed Ubisoft at the start of sales.
