Scythe presented the Kaze Flex II 120 PWM and Kaze Flex II 120 PWM Slim fans, which are also suitable for installation on CPU coolers. Products have a diameter of 120 mm.
The Kaze Flex II 120 PWM is equipped with an eleven-blade impeller and a hydrodynamic bearing. It will be released in two versions – KFS1225FD15-P and KFS1225FD20-P. The speed of rotation of the first is controlled by the method of pulse width modulation (PWM) in the range from 300 to 1500 rpm. The maximum air flow is 115 cubic meters per hour, the static pressure is up to 1.50 mm water column. The noise level does not exceed 28.6 dBA.
The KFS1225FD20-P version rotates at 300 to 2000 rpm. In this model, the airflow reaches 153 cubic meters per hour, the static pressure is 2.67 mm water column. Noise level – up to 36.2 dBA. The fans are 26 mm thick.
The Kaze Flex II 120 PWM Slim variant, on the other hand, is only 15 mm thick. This model is equipped with a nine-blade impeller and a hydrodynamic bearing. Rotational speed – from 300 to 1800 rpm. The air flow rate is up to 82 cubic meters per hour, the static pressure is up to 1.36 mm water column. The maximum noise level is 27.8 dBA.
The MTTF (Mean Time Between Failures) for all fans is 120,000 hours. The price is not mentioned.
