The flagship accelerators Radeon RX 6950 XT Nitro+ and Radeon RX 6950 XT Nitro+ Pure get massive expansion air cooling systems with three slots and three fans. The Radeon RX 6950 XT Toxic model offers a maintenance-free hybrid liquid cooling system with a 360 mm radiator.

The Radeon RX 6950 XT Nitro+ Pure relies on a completely new design. The cooling system housing is white with gray inserts. The card features ARGB-illuminated fans, as well as logos on the top and back of the accelerator. Like the Radeon RX 6950 XT Nitro+ version, the Radeon RX 6950 XT Nitro+ Pure accelerator is also equipped with three additional power connectors: two 8-pin and one 6-pin connector.

Upon launching the Radeon RX 6950 XT, Sapphire will only release the regular Toxic and Nitro+ versions seen in today’s images. In the future, however, the manufacturer may also release Toxic Extreme and Nitro + Special Edition versions, which traditionally have different colors of cooling systems and, more importantly, higher factory overclock rates.

It was previously reported that the recommended price of the reference Radeon RX 6950 XT will be $1099, which is $100 more expensive than the current Radeon RX 6900 XT.
