Western Digital has expanded its range of Nintendo-licensed memory cards with the release of the 1TB SanDisk microSD drive for Nintendo Switch consoles. With the largest storage capacity in SanDisk’s officially licensed microSD card range, Nintendo Switch users can take more of their favorite games with them.

Sequential read speeds of up to 100 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 90 MB/s are specified for new articles. The novelty corresponds to the microSDXC UHS-I standard.
The new 1TB card features the Hylian crest inspired by The Legend of Zelda. Smaller memory card variants in this series also relate to other well-known Nintendo titles such as Super Mario Bros. The new capacity is double the storage previously offered in the Nintendo-licensed SanDisk microSD card line, allowing gamers to expand their digital gaming library and save their favorite games in one place. Legend of Zelda fans in particular can rest assured that there is plenty of room for an exciting new chapter in the franchise: The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
