An advertising banner on the Samsung website promises the upcoming release of the Galaxy A54 5G smartphone with an updated design, a high-quality Dynamic AMOLED display, professional cameras with advanced night modes and powerful 5G. At the same time, the start of sales of the “little brother” – the Galaxy A34 5G smartphone – is expected.

The Galaxy A54 5G has a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. “Under the hood” is an Exynos 1380 processor, 8 GB RAM and 128 or 256 GB internal Storage. The smartphone is powered by a 5100mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging.
The camera features a 32 MP selfie camera, a 50 MP OIS main camera, a 12 MP ultra wide camera and a 5 MP macro camera. The phone can record 4K video at 30 fps with both the front and rear cameras. Samsung’s website emphasizes night mode for clearer images in low light. The promotional images show the black and purple versions of the device.
The Galaxy A34 5G features a 6.6-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is based on a Dimensity 1080 processor, has 6 or 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal Storage. The selfie camera is 13 MP, while the triple array on the back includes a 48 MP OIS camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5 MP macro camera. The 5000mAh battery supports 25W fast charging.

Both phones have a microSD card slot, an under-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers and IP67 dust and water resistance. The Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G run Samsung’s proprietary One UI 5.1 skin based on Android 13 and receive major Android OS updates for at least three years.
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G in India on March 16, 2023. The Galaxy A34 5G costs around INR 30,000 ($366). The Galaxy A54 5G costs INR 40,000 ($488), which is 15% more than the Galaxy A53 5G.
