Samsung releases One UI 6 beta based on Android 14

Samsung has announced the start of open beta testing of the next version of its user interface for smartphones and tablets, One UI 6, based on the Android 14 software platform. From this point on, owners of the manufacturer’s flagship devices can participate in the tests.

The One UI 6 beta is reportedly currently available on the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones in South Korea, the US and Germany. To download the next version of the user skin, you need to opt-in to receive the beta version through the Samsung Members application.

It is expected that the list of devices on which the installation of the One UI 6 beta version is available will be expanded soon. It was previously reported that Samsung will not only test the case on flagship smartphones, but will also make it available to users of lower-priced models, including A-, M-, F-series devices, etc. The company plans to expand the geography of the Shell beta test was not announced.

Additionally, Samsung has released several screenshots showing One UI 6, showing a redesigned quick settings interface and a new camera widget that lets you choose where to save content before using the camera. The post also mentions the ability to assign different wallpapers to different modes, as well as numerous less noticeable improvements.
