Samsung is preparing a rugged Galaxy XCover Pro 2 smartphone with a large Infinity-V display

Network sources have released renders of the Galaxy XCover Pro 2 rugged smartphone that Samsung is preparing for release. This device is expected to launch in the second or third quarter of this year.

We are talking about the presence of the Infinity V display with a diagonal of 6.56 inches. A small cutout at the top of this panel houses a single front camera. The reversing camera gets two blocks. There is said to be a side fingerprint scanner.

The smartphone gets a standard 3.5mm headphone jack. The novelty is enclosed in a protected case made according to IP68 and MIL-STD810H standards.

The gadget gets a removable battery. The USB Type-C connector is mentioned. The device will be able to work on 5G mobile networks.

According to the information available, the basis will be the Snapdragon 778G processor developed by Qualcomm. The chip packs eight Kryo 670 cores clocked up to 2.4GHz and an Adreno 642L graphics accelerator.

The smartphone is delivered with the Android 12 operating system. There is currently no information on the expected price.
