Last June, Samsung stopped registering new users for the Tizen Store, but existing members can still install previously downloaded apps. The service is no longer available to all users.
An error code appears on the screen when trying to open the Tizen Store app or visit the Tizen Store website. The service no longer works on all Samsung smartphones with Tizen OS – Z1, Z2, Z3 and Z4 in all countries. Samsung has so far opted for Android Wear OS 3 instead of Tizen for its wearables, the Galaxy Watch 4 and all future watches now run with Wear OS. The company’s last model under Tizen’s leadership was the Samsung Z4, released in 2017.
After that, the company didn’t release a single new smartphone with Tizen technology, so most of the developers gradually left the platform.
