Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 tablets will get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and up to 16GB of RAM

The WinFuture resource has published renders and detailed technical specifications of the flagship tablets of the Galaxy Tab S8 series, which will soon be announced by the South Korean giant Samsung.

The family will include three models – the basic version of the Galaxy Tab S8, a more powerful modification of the Galaxy Tab S8 + and the most expensive version of the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. The screen diagonal is respectively 11, 12.7 and 14.6 inches, the resolution is 2560 × 1600, 2800 × 1752 and 2960 × 1848 pixels. In all cases, a panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz is used.

All gadgets are equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor with eight cores with a frequency of up to 3.0 GHz. Mentioned are 802.11ax Wi-Fi adapters with Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth 5.2 support, a GPS/GLONASS receiver, a USB-C 3.2 Gen1 port, and a microSD card slot.

Implemented support for the proprietary S Pen. The devices will be equipped with a dual rear camera with sensors for 13 and 6 million pixels. There is talk of optional support for 5G.

The Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S8 + models will get 8 GB of RAM, a flash drive with a capacity of 128/256 GB and a 12-megapixel front camera. The battery capacity is 8000 or 10,090 mAh.

The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will be available with 8GB and 16GB RAM and 128GB/512GB storage. There is a dual front camera with two 12-megapixel sensors. Power is supplied by an 11,200 mAh battery.

All new items come with the Android 12 operating system complemented by the Samsung One UI 4.1 add-on.
