Samsung Display is developing technology to hide Face ID for iPhone 15 Pro

At the same time, in the first phase, the technology will only be available in the Pro versions of the new iPhones.

It is known that on the Fold 3, the pixel density in the area of ​​the display that covers the camera is significantly lower than in the rest of the panel – this allows light to fall on the camera sensor, but still affects the quality of the photos. Samsung Display is known to be collaborating with Canadian company OTI Lumionics to develop the technology.
