The Samsung branch in the UAE mistakenly published the full specifications of the upcoming Galaxy Fit3 smart bracelet on its official website ahead of time. There have been rumors about this device for several years now. The new product will replace the Galaxy Fit2 smart bracelet released in 2020 and will receive a larger display, a more capacious battery and a more modern user interface.
The Samsung Galaxy Fit3 smart bracelet will be equipped with a 1.6-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 256 × 402 pixels. The design of the device will use plastic and aluminum. The bracelet will offer support for over 100 different digital watch faces, and also allows you to create your own based on images from the gallery. The user interface of the new product will be “tiled”.
Samsung Galaxy Fit3 will offer support for more than 100 different workout modes. The device will be able to monitor sleep hygiene, stress levels and heart rate indicators. In addition, the new product will be equipped with a fall sensor and will be able to automatically notify rescue services if necessary.
Galaxy Fit3 will allow you to view notifications and control media functions of the devices with which it is paired. While the smart band won’t support voice calls, it will allow you to drop and end calls on the connected device, as well as send preset replies via text messages. The new product will not receive a GPS module, so to navigate while jogging you will have to use the GPS module of your smartphone to which the bracelet will be connected. Samsung also confirmed that the Galaxy Fit3 will not have NFC and will not support third-party apps.
The device’s battery will allow it to work on a single charge for up to 13 days during normal use. The smart bracelet will support fast charging – up to 65% of the battery will be charged in 30 minutes via a charger with a proprietary two-pin magnetic mount.
Galaxy Fit3 will be available in at least three colors – black, white and pink. The weight of the device will be 18.5 grams. The new product will offer IP68 dust and water protection standard. The only thing that remains unknown is the cost of the device. Samsung headquarters is expected to announce this information in the coming days.
