The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event, which will showcase the Galaxy S23 smartphones, will take place on February 1st. This became known after, due to a person’s error, a page with a teaser photo dedicated to the upcoming event and the date of its holding appeared on the website of a South Korean company in Colombia. The page was deleted almost immediately, but users were able to take screenshots of it. Until now It has been reported that Galaxy Unpacked will take place in the first week of February.

Alongside the date, the poster bears the event’s slogan “Epic Moments Are Coming” and shows the triple camera lenses of the Galaxy S23 series smartphone stacked vertically with rings around them. The same camera design can be seen in renders that have recently appeared on the web.
As expected, the Galaxy S23 series smartphones will get a more powerful version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. All devices in the series – Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra – come with Android 13 OS by default.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra is rumored to have a 200-megapixel rear camera with OIS support, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with autofocus, a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 10- x optical zoom. Sources say that the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ models will get a triple main camera with a 50-megapixel sensor with support for optical stabilization, a 12-megapixel sensor with ultra-wide-angle optics and autofocus, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom . All three models are said to come with a 12-megapixel selfie camera with support for optical stabilization and autofocus.
The battery capacity of the Galaxy S23 is 3900 mAh and that of the Galaxy S23+ is 4700 mAh. The Galaxy S23 Ultra packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. All models in the series support Fast Wireless Charging and Reverse Wireless Charging. The smartphone specifications also include support for 5G wireless, GPS, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 adapters, an NFC module, a USB Type-C connector and stereo speakers. In terms of protection against dust and moisture, the devices meet the IP68 standard.
The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event will be streamed live on Samsung.com, the Samsung Newsroom page and the Samsung YouTube channel.
