Sales of the roguelike role-playing game Darkest Dungeon II exceeded 500,000 copies

Developer of Canadian Red Hook Studios reportedthat the dark roguelike role-playing game Darkest Dungeon II has sold over 500,000 copies. This game lasted a year and a half.

The first 100,000 copies were sold on the first day of Early Access in October 2021, the developers stated around 300,000 copies wrote in April of the current. The full version of Darkest Dungeon II was released just recently – on May 8th.

In version 1.0, the fourth and fifth acts of the storyline, the character’s 12th grade (self-flagellation), a redesigned prologue, an improved training system and other things appeared. The developers intend to continue supporting their offspring with new content.

Darkest Dungeon II invites the player to form a squad, equip a stagecoach and embark on an adventure to prevent the apocalypse. Each expedition lasts between 30 minutes and several hours. Even with an unsuccessful mission, the player will receive resources that will be useful to him on his next journey.
