The release date for the first AMD Ryzen consumer processor with 3D V-Cache technology has been confirmed. The octa-core, 16-thread Ryzen 7 5800X3D with 96MB 3D V-Cache is scheduled for release on April 20th. The recommended cost for the chip is $449.
The prices of six additional processors from the Ryzen 5000 and Ryzen 4000 series, which AMD will publish shortly, were also announced today. The fact that AMD is planning to expand the range of processor series mentioned above became known through an earlier leak. The latest chip belongs to the so-called Renoir X series based on the Zen 2 architecture, in whose processors the integrated graphics core is deactivated. It also includes the quad-core Ryzen 3 4100 model, priced at $99. The availability of the Ryzen 5000 and Ryzen 4000 series processors mentioned above is not yet known.
