Apparently the upcoming addon will be called Dragonflight. The name has been highlighted in mentions of pre-orders (Basic, Heroic, and Epic), upgrades to the most complete editions, and a still-inactive domain dragonflight.blizzard.com.

Additionally, previous dataminers have unearthed clues to some of the items from the expansion. Specifically, a pet, magic items associated with dragons, and a mount (also a dragon).

Wowhead believes at least some of the references to Dragonflight are in the code “Pretty sure” was accidental, but it also allowed Blizzard Entertainment to mislead players.

The next addition to World of Warcraft is scheduled to be officially unveiled on April 19th this year. Shadowlands, which debuted in November 2020, remains the latest addon released for the game.
