Rumors: the third add-on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be called Dawn of Ragnarok and will tell about the events in Svartalfheim

French blogger under the pseudonym j0nathan in a new video on his YouTube channel shared information about the unannounced third add-on to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, found in the game files after a recent patch.

J0nathan found the reference to the desired extension in the files of the Scandinavian action movie Ubisoft back in the spring. The publisher has not yet confirmed the find, although it announced the second year of project support.

According to j0nathan, the mysterious expansion is called Dawn of Ragnarok (formerly the addon was codenamed Meteor) and tells about the events in Svartalfheim, the homeland of the dwarves (gnomes) from German-Scandinavian mythology.

According to the Dawn of Ragnarok plot, the forces of Muspelheim must invade Svartalfheim. These events, according to j0nathan, will set the stage for Ragnarok according to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Among other things, the blogger managed to unearth in files a list of Dawn of Ragnarok achievements with rewards for clearing all territories of Svartalfheim, complete pumping of Odin’s bracers (apparently, a new mythical item), and so on.

As the portal notes Eurogamer, in the new add-on, Eivor – the protagonist / protagonist of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – will receive such skills as temporary invisibility, transformation into a raven, teleporting arrows and the revival of the enemy.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available on PC (Uplay, Epic Games Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Google Stadia. Earlier in the June video Ubisoft about further support for the game discovered a hidden message to Odin from Loki.
