Colin Moriarty, former editor of IGN and Kinda Funny, on a recent episode of the Sacred Symbols podcast citing his own sources miss about the possible postponement of the role-playing game Hogwarts Legacy.
Keep in mind that the ambitious Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche Software release was originally expected for 2021, but was pushed back indefinitely in 2022.
According to Moriarty, the developers of Hogwarts Legacy will not meet this deadline either: “I’m hearing behind the scenes that the game won’t be releasing this year and is having some issues.”.
It is noteworthy that the PlayStation editors did not include Hogwarts Legacy in theirs compilation of the 22 remarkable games coming to PS4 and PS5 in 2022. Whether this is a conscious omission or a harbinger of the upcoming transfer is still unclear.
Hogwarts Legacy is being created for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. According to insider Tom Henderson, the game could be one of the premieres of State of Play’s yet-to-be-announced February release.
