Mass Effect: Andromeda performed so poorly (compared to previous games) that Electronic Arts even froze the series for a while. The “thaw” came in autumn 2020 with the official confirmation of the new part.
Since its announcement, the new Mass Effect has received few teasers and images, but a full presentation has not yet been received. The game is still in pre-production.
The next Mass Effect is expected to come after Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, another game in development at BioWare. Publication is awaited no earlier than summer 2024 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X and S.
