VentureBeat journalist Jeff Grubb clarified the timing of the announcement of the Jedi action sequel, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, during the recent installment of the GamesBeat Decides podcast.
Recall that earlier Grubb claimed that the presentation of the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will take place before the E3 2022 exhibition, which will take place in June. Probably, the reporter then said, the game will be shown “around May”.
According to Grubb, Electronic Arts now plans to announce the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order sequel at the annual Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, which will take place May 26-29.
As for the release date, Grubb isn’t sure yet: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 could be released either later this year (another insider spoke about it) or early 2023.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order debuted on PC (Steam, Origin, EGS), PS4, and Xbox One in November 2019. The game’s audience has surpassed 20 million people, however, according to rumors, the sequel was given the green light even before the release of the first part.
