It is claimed that the basis of the novelty will be the Dimensity 8100 processor developed by MediaTek. This “System on a Chip” combines eight cores in the form of a bundle of Arm Cortex-A78 and Cortex-A55 with a maximum clock frequency of 2.85 GHz. The product includes an Arm Mali-G610 MC6 graphics accelerator and a 5G modem.
The OnePlus Nord 3 smartphone is rumored to have a 6.7-inch Full HD+ flat screen with a resolution of 2412 × 1080 pixels. In the center at the top of the screen is a small hole for a selfie camera on a 16-megapixel sensor.
A three-component design is supposedly planned for the rear camera. This is a 50-megapixel main unit with a Sony IMX766 sensor (maximum aperture – f / 1.8), an 8-megapixel module with wide-angle optics and a 2-megapixel sensor.
The equipment includes up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a UFS 3.1 flash drive. The fingerprint scanner in the display area is mentioned.
According to the published information, power is supplied by a 4500 mAh battery with support for ultra-fast charging at 150 W. The announcement of new items is expected in the next quarter.
