A verified Zippo Insider in a recent post on his blog site toldwhat to expect from Japanese publisher Atlus’ fourth announcement as part of the Persona series’ 25th anniversary celebrations.
Keep in mind that Atlus has seven anniversary announcements planned. Of the last three, only the second has turned out to be gaming so far – the company unveiled a re-release of the Persona 4 Arena Ultimax fighting game that Zippo once predicted.
Next, Atlus will announce an adventure spin-off of the Japanese role-playing game Persona 5, starring a popular supporting character in the title role, according to Zippo.
We’re talking about a charismatic student Goro Akechi who works part-time as a detective. According to Zippo, RPG is not expected from the project: the game “focuses on his adventures and skills as a star detective”.
After the results Choose In honor of Persona 5’s fifth anniversary, Twitter users have recognized Akechi as the third most popular character in the game. The young detective lost only to the protagonist and student council leader Makoto Niijima.
Among other things, Zippo reported that Persona 4 Golden will appear on modern consoles in 2022 and that a remake will appear for Persona 3 Portable. Both of the insider’s claims are awaiting confirmation.
The fourth announcement to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Persona series is scheduled for next month, in April. Atlus plans to celebrate the anniversary by September this year.
