Bloomberg analyst Mark Gurman has released new information about Apple’s upcoming entry-level MacBook Pro portable computer. It gets a new-generation proprietary Apple processor, but at the same time is deprived of an advanced screen, like older MacBook Pros.

The laptop will be based on the proprietary Apple M2 processor. The device will not get a Touch Bar control panel, and the built-in storage capacity will be less compared to current MacBook Pro models equipped with a 14.2 and 16.2-inch diagonal screen. These laptops have a solid state module capacity of 512GB.
It also notes that the entry-level MacBook Pro might do without a ProMotion display with an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz. In addition, the use of mini-LED backlight is not provided.
Mark Gurman reports that Apple plans to release at least four computers on the M2 hardware platform this year. In addition to the aforementioned MacBook Pro, there’s the new MacBook Air, the 24-inch iMac desktop, and the small form factor Mac Mini.
Meanwhile, Apple is expected to announce the third-generation iPhone SE smartphone on March 8th, which will gain 5G support. The “heart” of the device will be the A15 Bionic processor.
