Rumors: a collection of GTA remasters will sell for the price of new big-budget games

User Twitter under the pseudonym IdleSloth84 drew attention to the fact that the British online store Base opened pre-orders of the collection Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.

According to the retailer’s website, Rockstar Games will sell Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition for the price of a full-fledged AAA-caliber blockbuster video game.

So, the cost of the collection on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch will allegedly be £ 60 ($ 60), and for the versions for the current generation consoles – PS5, Xbox Series X and S – you will have to pay all £ 70 ($ 70).

Rockstar Games did not announce the cost and even the exact release date of the remasters: the release is expected before the end of the year on PC (Rockstar Games Launcher), PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and in the first half of 2022 – on iOS and Android.

Recall that Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is a set of reissues of GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas with “Graphic improvements and modernization of the gameplay”
