One of the most distinctive and useful features for Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic smartwatch users was a rotating mechanical bezel (frame). However, with the next generation model – the current Galaxy Watch 5 Pro – the developers have abandoned this solution. Now, network sources are reporting that a rotating bezel will return to one of the models in the Galaxy Watch 6 lineup.

Samsung could reportedly release the Galaxy Watch 6 in 40mm and 44mm versions, as well as the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic in 42mm and 46mm versions. It is assumed that the second of the mentioned models will receive a rotating bezel.
At the same time, information appeared about what batteries will be used in the new smart watch from the South Korean company. According to the source, the 40mm Galaxy Watch 6 will come with a 300mAh battery, while the 44mm version will get a 425mAh battery. It is also reported that the 42mm Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will get a 300mAh battery. The battery capacity of the 46mm version of the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic has not been specified.
It seems that this year’s Samsung smartwatches will come with significantly smaller batteries as the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro uses a 590mAh battery. But that doesn’t mean less battery life. At this point, there aren’t many details about the upcoming updates. Samsung is expected to officially launch the new smartwatch in the second half of this year along with the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 foldable smartphones.
