Information about the free update appeared in official microblog games. In a separate post, the developers have listed the accessibility settings that will help some players to make the passage through Resident Evil Village more comfortable. These are the following options:

  • subtitle size, color and background;
  • Show character name in subtitles in story mode;
  • permanent display of the crosshairs of the sight;
  • Displaying subtitles with descriptions of sounds for players with hearing difficulties.

Winters’ Expansion and Village Gold Edition will be available on October 28th for PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Google Stadia. Resident Evil Re:Verse will be released on the same day.
