Resident Evil 4 Remake will also appear on the previous generation console

Publisher and Developer Capcom as part of its Presentations at Tokyo Game Show 2022 announced the expansion of the list of target platforms for the remake of the cult action game Resident Evil 4.

Remember that Resident Evil 4 (that’s what the rethink is called) was unveiled during the June issue of State of Play and until recently was positioned as exclusive to current-gen PCs and consoles.

As has become known, in addition to PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, the remake of Resident Evil 4 will also go on sale for the Sony Interactive Entertainment console of the previous cycle – PlayStation 4.

Capcom didn’t share any other details about the remake but promised to hold a show in October. Resident Evil showcasewhich will not only include the updated Resident Evil 4, but also the Gold Edition of the Resident Evil Village shooter.

Resident Evil 4 is expected to be released on March 24th, 2023 on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X and S. They promise the spirit of the original source, a darker and more disturbing story, updated gameplay, graphics on RE Engine, and content for PlayStation VR2.
