During the previous day’s broadcast, The Snitch revealed that Sony Interactive Entertainment has reportedly been working on a project called the God of War Ragnarok DLC for some time.
What type of addon it is – standard or standalone (see Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy) – The Snitch doesn’t know, but says the addon is about 60% complete and unreleased will be in 2023.
As for the source of the leak, The Snitch found out about it “100% reliable” a whistleblower who previously shared details and screenshots of the open-world role-playing game Rise of the Ronin with an insider.
The Snitch doesn’t know when the God of War Ragnarok DLC in development will be unveiled, but does suggest that Sony may be rescinding the announcement for one of its upcoming big presentations like the PlayStation Showcase in May.
God of War Ragnarok director Eric Williams shortly after release saidwhich would not count on the release of supplements: “I don’t know, the game is huge. I think we did everything we could.”.
God of War Ragnarok was released on November 9th, 2022 for PS4 and PS5. Surpassed sales through February 1, 2023 11 million copies. Recently, Santa Monica Studio developers needed specialists with game knowledge – quite possible for a possible DLC.
